I think the most challenging step for a school district is understanding the importance of an Enterprise Architecture Program. How a well LEA communicated vision. With an EA Program in place will understand its current and future state, create a project plan, and reduces costs, time, and errors. I think the greatest challenge in school districts is Schedule and Staff Project Plan. When creating an EA that involves the integration of technology in classrooms, we are not only using the adequate devices to take SBAC Testing, but also we need to understand that the majority of educators are not prepared to transform learning by integrating technology in their lessons. This starts with proving educators the time to learn basic computer skills to skills on learning how students enhance their learning through collaborative projects integrating the technology. Why? What steps can be taken to improve the success of the activities in that particular phase? How will staff be acquired? Each school should have at least two teachers that have the skills and knowledge to train teachers on campus. We need to understand the needs of teachers in each school and create support groups, and create a plan to train teachers on any skill level.

Typically, school districts have maintained separate plans for technology and the district. For example, a district creates a “district education plan” and then has a separate “technology plan.” Moving forward, do you think this is still a good practice, or should they be combined? Please provide a rationale for your decision.
This week you completed a brick for a technology. In your current capacity (teacher, etc.), how could you use this same process to improve your practice?.
