I couldn’t get how Enterprise Architecture Works. For now what I know, it means that there needs to be a technology plan "to improve the performance of enterprises" (Bernard). In order for this to work there needs to be a cross-functional team meaning that even though the people involved in the planning team have different roles, they need to understand how a role in EA is not defined by their specialty, but rather the way the use their collective knowledge to solve needs of business. An example of this is a seminar suggested for Managers on understanding IT IT for the Non-IT Executive Reading the discussion posts of my fellow colleagues and the examples of how they are part of EA at their site gives me a better perspective of what it means.
