I have never had the opportunity or taken the time to watch my mother bake chocoflan. When I used to live at home, I would come after dinner was done. I never had time or patience to watch her make something step by step. I have tried of couple of times on making chilaquiles (they still don't taste as my mom's recipe). This time I had to watch her and she had to pause and really think about how to explain for the video. It was not a "Just watch and learn", this video was created her talking and thinking about how she could present it to an audience. The dynamic changed and I enjoyed spending the time recording how my mom made the recipe.

Preparation Pan Add PAM or butter to your baking pan. Then layer some cajeta tat your taste. Put your pan over another bigger pan filled with water because you will need to bake it bain marie. Cake Mix You mix the eggs, oil and water together. This will make the cake moist and fluffly. My mom says that is something that she learning through some classes she took. Then you add the cake mix. Mix it with a whisk or an electric mixer. You pour the mix to your baking pan (an angel cake pan works) | Disclaimer: Do not know what happened to the video..I tried to put 3 videos together in youtube and found that only one part of the video came together :(.
